COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body found in Colorado Springs Sunday.
Police said landscape workers found the body around 9:30 a.m. in a drainage system on Pulsar Drive near South Academy Boulevard.
An autopsy was conducted Monday. Police said there were no obvious signs of trauma or foul play. Police said while the cause has not been determined, they are no longer investigating the death as suspicious.
The victim has been identified as Lorenzo Vigil, 28, of Colorado Springs.
Police said the body had suffered “considerable decomposition” before it was found.
