COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A body was found in a creek in western Colorado Springs Monday afternoon.

Police said the body was found in the creek in the area of 31st Street and West Colorado Avenue. Police investigated and determined the man’s death was not suspicious.

The coroner’s office said they have identified the man, but are not releasing his name until they have notified next of kin. The office is conducting toxicology tests to determine how the man died.We’ll update this story as we learn more.
