Ben & Jerry’s teams up with Colorado brewery to make ice cream-flavored beer

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – A Colorado brewery is coming out with a new beer that is guaranteed to satisfy ice cream lovers’ taste buds too.

Colorado’s New Belgium Brewery is teaming up with Ben & Jerry’s to bring an ice cream inspired beer.

“We’re big fans of New Belgium Brewery, their values, and their fun culture, and of course their beer,” said Jay Curley, Senior Global Marketing Manager of Ben & Jerry’s, in a press release.

According to the press release, the ice cream inspired beer will be called Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale.

Both corporations expect the new brew to hit the shelves this fall.

“We’re excited for the campaign we’ve developed together. When two B Corps collaborate our fans can expect something both delicious and impactful,” Curley added in the press release.

Beer Street Journal reports that the two companies are collaborating together to raise awareness to Protect Our Winters, an organization that works to minimize the impact of climate change of snow covered mountain peaks in the U.S.Click here to read more.
