Amber Alert issued for girl last seen in Denver

DENVER — An Amber Alert has been issued for a girl who may have been abducted from a Denver Sam’s Club parking lot Friday morning.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation said the victim is a white girl in her early teens, last seen wearing pink pajama bottoms. She was last seen in the area of the Sam’s Club at 36th Avenue and Quebec Street in Denver around 10:40 a.m. Friday.

The girl may have been taken by a white man in his late 40s. He was wearing a blue t-shirt and may be traveling in a 1999 gray Dodge Caravan with Oregon license plate number ZEU 145. The van was last seen headed eastbound on 35th Avenue in Denver.

No photos of the victim, suspect, or van were immediately available.
