FORT CARSON, Colo. — About 240 soldiers are coming home to Fort Carson Monday after nine months in Afghanistan.
The soldiers are with the 4th Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division. They deployed to Afghanistan in December in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel.
A homecoming ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. Monday at the special events center on post.
UPDATE: About 140 soldiers from the same brigade are coming home later Monday evening. A homecoming ceremony for those soldiers will be held at 7:45 p.m. at the special events center on post.
