140 Fort Carson soldiers coming home after nine months in Europe

About 140 Fort Carson soldiers are coming home after nine months in Europe.

The soldiers are with the 110th Military Police Company, 759th MP Battalion. They deployed to Europe in March in support of U.S. Army Europe, Atlantic Resolve, and NATO’s Enhanced Forward Presence, according to Fort Carson officials.

During their deployment, they conducted convoy security operations in support of the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division and 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, and participated in multiple NATO training events.

A homecoming ceremony will be held at 11:15 a.m. Friday at the special events center on post.
