Join FOX21 for the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — You’re invited to join FOX21 at the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade.

The parade is happening July 9 in downtown Colorado Springs. It steps off at 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Tejon Street and St. Vrain Street, and proceeds south on Tejon Street to Vermijo Avenue. The parade, emceed by FOX21’s own Craig Coffey, features floats, equestrian groups, and lots of local businesses.

Be aware that several roads in the downtown area will close due to tonight’s parade.

Closures from 2:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.:
o Tejon Street, from Cache la Poudre Street to St. Vrain Street
o Cache la Poudre Street, from Mesa to Tejon Street
o Dale Street, from Mesa Road to Nevada Ave.
o Monument Street, from Mesa Road to Nevada Ave.
o Willamette Ave., from Cascade Ave. to Nevada Ave.
o St. Vrain Street, from Cascade Ave. to Nevada Ave.

Closures from 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.:
o Tejon Street, from St. Vrain Sreet to Costilla Street
o Boulder Street, from Cascade Ave. to Nevada Ave.
o Platte Ave., from Cascade Ave. to Nevada Ave.
o Bijou Street, from Cascade Ave. to Nevada Ave.
o Kiowa Street, from Cascade Ave. to Nevada Ave.
o Pikes Peak Ave., from Cascade Ave. to Nevada Ave.
o Colorado Ave., from Cascade Ave. to Nevada Ave.
o Vermijo Ave., from Cascade Ave. to Nevada Ave.
