People in Hanover filled up their stomachs Sunday with a hearty breakfast made by their own fire department.
The breakfast is a Hanover Fire Department tradition that has been held every month since the 1970s.
The money raised Sunday will be used to buy new equipment and uniforms for firefighters.
“We’ve seen an increase of the public coming to the breakfast and they just sit down and talk a little bit amongst themselves. They get to know each other. It’s just a great place for the community to get together and talk and meet the firefighters,” Deputy Chief Kevin Junglen said.
Sunday’s breakfast was also part of the Hanover Days festival.
