Several volunteers were on patrol for poo at Bear Creek Dog Park Saturday.
The event is called April Stools Day. Each year, El Paso County Parks brings a group of people together to clean up dog doo that’s left behind.
One volunteer said she thinks most dog owners are responsible, but because the park is so large, she thinks sometimes dog owners don’t realize where their dog has relieved themselves.
The group provided plastic gloves, bags, and buckets for volunteers.
