Westside Cares is hosting a feminine products drive this month.
CEO Kristy Milligan said 1 in 4 women occasionally go without feminine hygiene products because they can’t afford them. Without proper care items, sanitation and health problems can arise.
“With recognition that they’re an important element of feeling our best and looking our best, we are doing a specific drive to ensure that we have adequate supplies to help people in need,” Milligan said.
The drive runs until May 15. Products can be dropped off at Westside Cares on Colorado Avenue from Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and on Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Eve’s Revolution on Colorado Avenue is also collecting donations.
