Colorado Springs Christian Schools students are selling t-shirts to benefit the family of a Doherty High School student who is facing health challenges.

Schafer Reichart, 16, contracted bacterial pneumonia near the end of January, according to a family friend

T-shirts to benefit Schafer and his family will be sold at all Colorado Springs Christian Schools home basketball games Friday. The games are at 4 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 7 p.m. at the school on Mallow Road in northern Colorado Springs.

Shirts will be available for a suggested donation of $10. All proceeds will go to Schafer’s family to help pay medical bills.

“The Reicherts are a part of the CSCS family, so our students, staff and school families wanted to do something to give back to them as they are going through this difficult time,” a CSCS spokeswoman said in a statement. “Come out and fill the bleachers to support Schafer and his family!”
