Pueblo Police investigate homicide

PUEBLO, COLO. -- Pueblo Police are investigating an early morning homicide.
Shortly before 1 a.m., police received a call for a possible homicide at a home on the 1100 block of Mass St.
When officers arrived, they found the body of a 34-year-old woman inside the home.
Police say the woman's husband stabbed her to death.
A short time later, the 35-year-old man was involved in a motorcyle accident on Highway 50 and Baxter, near Pueblo Memorial Airport.
State Patrol says he died from injuries sustained in the crash. His name has not been released to the media, pending the coroner's report.
According to police, there were three children inside the home where the homicide happened. The children were transported to the police station and are now with family members.
