Motorists, be aware. The following is a list fo the highway projects from the Colorado Department of Transportation planned for this week across Southern Colorado.

Officials said all work is dependent upon the weather.

Sunday - Saturday, January 20 - January 26, 2013

US 350 Eastbound/Westbound Nine Miles East of Trinidad
(Milemarker 8.4-8.7) (through July 2013)
24 Hours- There will be one lane alternating traffic beginning 1/16/13 with flaggers and temporary traffic signals 24 hours a day for bridge replacement. Project hotline - 719-431-9595. Delays possible. MO, 1/21/13, traffic stops of up to 1 hour will be required. Motorists can use CO 10 between LaJunta and Walsenburg or I-25 between Walsenburg and Trinidad as alternate routes.

US 85 Northbound/Southbound Between Cook Ranch and just north of Louviers
(Milemarker 193-197) (through July 2013)
8:00 AM-4:30 PM WE-FR Short term lane closures with flaggers at Ron King Rd to allow equipment to cross the highway. Minimal delays.

CO 21 Northbound/Southbound Powers Boulevard Between Woodmen Road and E. Milton
Proby Parkway (Milemarker 140.5) (through January 2013)
8:00 AM-5:00 PM MO-FR Shoulder closures only in both directions on Powers from Constitution to Barnes for shoulder work. No delays expected.

CO 239 Northbound/Southbound One Mile North of Trinidad
(Milemarker 1) (through April 2013)
24 Hours- There will be one lane alternating traffic 24/7 for duration of project. Traffic signals will regulate traffic. 14 ft width restriction in effect from 1/3/12 through 4/2013. Delays possible.

CO 266 Eastbound/Westbound East of Rocky Ford
(Milemarker 2.64) (through April 2013)
7:00 AM-5:00 PM MO-FR There will be one lane alternating traffic for bridge replacement project. No closures will take place on Tuesday. Speed limit reduced to 35 mph. 10 minute delays.

CO 71 Northbound/Southbound North of Rocky Ford
(Milemarker 19.27) (through April 2013)
24 Hours- Traffic placed on detour route for bridge replacement through completion of project. Delays possible. Speed limit reduced to 45 mph through detour.

CO 83 Northbound/Southbound Just North of Franktown
(Milemarker 51-53) (through February 2013)
7:30 AM-4:30 PM MO-FR Shoulder closures in both directions MO & TU. Single lane closures in both directions. WE-FR for paving operations. Delays possible WE-FR.
