WESTCLIFFE, COLO. -- Officials with Colorado Parks and Wildlife are looking for information about the illegal killing of a deer in Westcliffe.
According to officials, someone shot and killed a deer before removing its organs around 11 a.m. Monday. Fishermen at Deweese Reservoir heard the shots and alerted authorities.
The deer was found dead and field dressed just a few feet off County Road 241.
Authorities are offering a $500 reward for anyone whose tip leads to a citation.
