A man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after he was driving the wrong way on Interstate 25.

The man, who has yet to be identified, is currently being tested for DUI.

At about 2 p.m., police received reports of a vehicle going southbound in the northbound lanes on I-25 around North Nevada.

Traffic cameras indicated he pulled over near Garden of the Gods but then got back in the vehicle and took off again, police said.

Police used stop sticks to try to stop the man but he kept driving with flat tired.

The man was eventually stopped about one-fourth of a mile south of Fillmore.
