Investigation continues into Air Force Academy cadet death

AIR FORCE ACADEMY, COLO. -- An Air Force Academy cadet was found dead on campus Saturday night, according to officials.

The cause of death remains under investigation.

According to Academy officials, cadet 4th Class James Walsh of Tinley park, Ill., was found dead inside the cadet area. Academy personnel were not able to revive him.

"The Academy is deeply saddened by the tragic loss we suffered Saturday," said Lt. Gen. Mike Gould, Superintendent of the Air Force Academy. "As we grieve the passing of James, we ask that everyone keep his family and friends in their thoughts and prayers.

Funeral arrangements are pending, officials said.
