Flames engulf Springs auto body shop

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A local auto shop was damaged in a fire Saturday morning.

According to the Colorado Springs Fire Department, the fire started around 11:30 a.m. at Custom Repairs located on Auburn Drive, near Platte Avenue.

Three nearby businesses were evacuated while crews worked to put out the flames.

Firefighters spent the afternoon ventilating smoke out of the building.

No injuries were reported.

Investigators said the fire was an accident.
