Another teenager arrested in Fremont County burglaries

CAÑON CITY, COLO. -- Two teenagers were arrested in connection with last week's burglary at the Fremont County Administration Building.

The Canyon City police along with CIRT detectives and SWAT officers from the Fremont County Sheriff's Office conducted a search warrant Tuesday evening in the 300 block of of North 7th Street.

Douglas Aaron Ghiorso, 18, was arrested for burglarizing the Kountry Komer and other burglaries in the area.

Ghiorso is also believed to have been involved in the burglary at the Fremont County Administration Building, police said.

Two others were also arrested during the search warrant on unrelated warrants.

A second suspect in the Admin Building burglary was arrested Tuesday morning at the Kountry Komer burglary. He was transported to the Spring Creek Youth Services Center in Colorado Springs.

Ghiorso remains int he Fremont County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond.
