COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A man armed with a handgun robbed a Colorado Springs Taco Express late Monday evening, police said.

At about 9:25 p.m., Monday, police responded to the Taco Express in the 4400 block of Centennial Boulevard on the report of a robbery.

Police said a suspect who was armed with a handgun demanded money from the restaurant. He then fled with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

The suspect is described as a white man in his mid 20s  about six-feet-one tall.
