One family displaced by fire
COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Fire crews worked to battle a blaze at an apartment complex in the 1100 block of Potter Drive Friday afternoon.
At about 5:30, officials said the fire, located at Vista Peak Apartments, was under control.
Crews searched two units involved in the fire for people. Both units were clear, officials said. No injuries were reported.
One family was displaced by the fire. The American Red Cross will be assisting that family.
Additional apartments were evacuated and traffic on Potter Drive was blocked at Galley.
An investigator arrived on scene to help determine the cause, officials said.
