Man found dead in creek ID'd, cause of death still unknown

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- El Paso County Sheriff's deputies have identified a man who was found dead face down in a creek behind a trailer park Thursday.

Deputies said 69-year-old John Hamilton was fully clothed with his face in the creek off South Circle Drive in Colorado Springs. There were no obvious injuries.

The coroner performed an autopsy Friday but cannot determine how Hamilton died until test results come back.

Hamilton was from Colorado Springs.
