Autopsies complete on Waldo Canyon fire victims

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The El Paso County Coroner's Office has released the autopsy report of the two victims of the Waldo Canyon Fire.

After the fire 74-year-old William Everett and his wife, 73-year-old Barbara Everett, were found dead in their Mountain Shadows home, which burned down on June 26.

According to the autopsy reports, Barbara Everett died as a result of thermal injures and smoke inhalation.

William Everett also died from smoke inhalation as well as skin burns.

The manner of their deaths is ruled undetermined but could be ruled as homicides if investigators find the fire was intentionally set.
