CANON CITY, COLO. -- A man who was riding his bike in Canon City Tuesday is in critical condition after being hit by a pickup truck.
The unknown man was hit at Leslie Lane and Field Avenue in the city, according to Canon City Police officers. The driver of the truck drove away after turning left onto Leslie from southbound Field.
The biker was riding a blue and yellow Easton mountain bicycle. He is a 30 to 40-year-old white man with a medium build, brown hair, a beard and a goatee. He had no identification on him.
The truck was blue or black, smaller and may have been driven by a woman.
