TUESDAY: A very cold start this morning with temps below zero on the far eastern plains and wind chills below zero in many areas early. Be prepared for some icy roads in spots. Sunshine is expected as skies clear. Highs will be a bit nippy, only climbing to the lower and mid 30s over the hills with 20s on the plains. Winds will be light for most.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear with light wind. It'll be cold again with single digits and teens.
EXTENDED FORECAST: A nice warm up is on the way for the rest of the work week with highs moving back into the upper 50s and 60s. I've got my eyes on a storm for the weekend that will bring some more snow to the ski resorts and some rain and snow to our area late Saturday and Saturday night.
