An Air Force Academy cadet will be spending some time alone prior to his Article 32 hearing.
The Air Force Academy Squadron Commander ordered pre-trial confinement for Cadet Second Class Jamil Cooks involving a new allegation of misconduct. Cooks is being held in the Teller County Detention Center to prohibit any potential harm to himself or others.
In September, Cooks had two charges - sodomy and aggravated sexual assault - preferred against him.
The Air Force Office of Special Investigations is investigating the new allegation. Cooks' Article 32 hearing is in two weeks.
