Colorado College shuts outs Michigan Tech

HOUGHTON, MICH. (AP) -- Jayden Schwartz had two goals and an assist while goalie Josh Thorimbert made 36 saves to help Colorado College shut out Michigan Tech 5-0 on Saturday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
Archie Skalbeck also had two goals for the Tigers (8-7-1, 5-5-0), who extended Michigan Tech's losing streak to eight games.
Schwartz had four assists in the Tigers' 5-3 win on Friday.
Stephen Schultz added a goal and two assists, and Dakota Eveland had two assists.
The Tigers outshot the Huskies 49-36. They had 21 shots and scored four times in the third period.
Goalie Josh Robinson had 44 saves for the Huskies (3-8-2, 1-8-1).
