COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Until Sunday night, the Arizona Cardinals looked unstoppable. Their road to the Super Bowl was anything but a cake walk.

The same could be said about the Pittsburgh Steelers, making their second Super Bowl appearance in four seasons, and looking for a record sixth Super Bowl title.

In tennis, the Australian Open final came down to another classic match of champions. Top-ranked Rafael Nadal and second-ranked Roger Federer battled 4.5 hours. It was the Spaniard Nadal who claimed his sixth Grand Slam title and third straight win over Federer in five sets.

Tomorrow Tennessee Volunteers women's head basketball coach Pat Summitt looks to become the first college basketball coach to reach win number 1,000. Summitt has been with the Lady Volunteers for 35 years.

Finally, Michael Phelps captivated the world by winning a record 8 Olympic gold medals. On Sunday, he spent the afternoon apologizing to the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and his fans after a British tabloid newspaper released a photo of Phelps inhaling through what looks to be a marijuana pipe.

Phelps responded saying, "I engaged in behavior which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgment."
