COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. (AP) -- Jaden Schwartz scored the go-ahead goal at 2:47 of the third period and Nebraska-Omaha had a tying goal with 2:46 left waved off, giving the Tigers a 4-3 Western Collegiate Hockey Association win on Friday.
Dominic Zombo appeared to tie the game when a pass went off his skate into the net. After a brief review, officials ruled it was intentionally kicked in and disallowed the goal.
Schwartz finished with a goal and two assists for the Tigers (16-11-2, 13-9-1), who snapped a three-game winless streak.
Rylan Schwartz had a goal and an assist to reach the 100-point plateau for his career.
Colorado College's Bryce Anelosski extended his point-scoring streak to eight games with an assist on Matt White's goal in the second period.
Josh Thorimbert had 22 saves for the Tigers and Ryasn Massa made 28 stops for the Mavericks (13-12-6, 10-8-5).
