FOXBOROUGH, MASS. (AP) -- The New England Patriots are hoping to do a better job stopping Denver's running game than they did a month ago against the Broncos.

Denver rushed for 167 yards in the first quarter alone and finished with 252. Quarterback Tim Tebow led that attack with 93, but the Patriots won 41-23 after trailing 16-7 early in the second quarter.

The teams meet again Saturday night in an AFC divisional playoff game.

Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork says the key to stopping Denver's running game is not to rely on just one player to make the tackle. But the Broncos have run the ball better than any other team. They led the NFL with 164.5 yards per game.
