MANKATO, MINN. (AP) -- Colorado College's David Civitarese scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lift the Tigers to a 2-1 Western Collegiate Hockey Association win over Minnesota State, Mankato on Friday.
Civitarese scored just 1:28 into the extra period for the Tigers (10-5-0, 8-5-0), who were outshot 38-29.
Josh Thorimbert made 37 saves, including 15 in the third period for Colorado College.
Austin Lee made 29 stops for the Mavericks (5-13-1, 2-10-1). He had four saves in overtime.
Jeff Collett had a goal for Colorado College. Matt Leitner tied it for the Mavericks late in the third period.
