STANFORD, CALIF. (AP) -- Dorian Green scored 19 points and Wes Eikmeier added 18 in leading Colorado State to a 75-56 victory over SMU on Monday night in the first round of the NIT Season Tip-Off tournament.

Greg Smith and Will Bell each added 10 points as the Rams won their first two games of the season for the third consecutive year.

Jalen Jones scored 16 points for the Mustangs (1-1), who finished 19-13 last year. Jeremiah Samarrippas added 11 points and London Giles 10.

Green was scoreless in Colorado State's season-opening win over Montana on Friday night, missing all three of his shots. He more than made up for it against the Mustangs, going 5-for-8.

The Rams led by 24 points in the second half.

Green hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give the Rams a 51-29 halftime edge.

On Tuesday, Colorado State plays the winner of the Stanford-Fresno State game.
