DENTON, TEXAS (AP) -- George Odufuwa's 32nd career double-double paced North Texas to a 63-41 victory over Denver on Saturday night.

Odufuwa had 12 points and 10 rebounds in his fourth straight double-double for the Mean Green (18-10, 7-8 Sun Belt), who never trailed in breaking a two-game losing streak.

Tristan Thompson led North Texas with 16 points, Josh White added 12 and Dominique Johnson had 10.

The Pioneers (13-16, 9-7) were led by Brian Stafford, who scored 13 points as they lost their third in a row.

In the conference tournament, Denver will be the No. 3 seed in the West and face Florida International, No. 6 in the East.

North Texas is tied with Arkansas-Little Rock, and they'll play Tuesday for the fourth seed in the West.

The Mean Green led by 23 points in the second half, limiting Denver to the lowest total by an opponent this season.
