Carlson leads Wyoming past Air Force 96-54

LARAMIE, WYO. (AP) -- Hillary Carlson scored 27 points to lead five Wyoming players in double digits as part of a 96-54 victory over Air Force on Saturday.

The Cowgirls (14-4, 4-1 Mountain West) went ahead for good midway through the first half and took their largest lead for the final score.

Carlson made 9 of 11 from the field and went 8 for 8 from the free throw line.

Wyoming finished shooting 60.8 percent from the field while the Falcons (6-12, 1-4) made just 32.1 percent.

Jade Kennedy helped out with 15 points for the Cowgirls while Chaundra Sewell added 13, Aubrey Vandiver 11 and Bec Campigli 10.

Dymond James and Raimee Beck led Air Force with 11 points each.
