Zucker scored two of Denver's first three goals for a 3-0 lead. But the Bulldogs (11-2-2, 8-2-1) scored four straight goals.

They took a 4-3 lead on Kyle Schmidt's goal at 15:02 of the third period.

Zucker tied it with an unassisted goal with just more than a minute left. He also assisted on a goal.

Jack Connolly had a goal and two assists for the Bulldogs, who fell into a first-place tie with the Pioneers.

Sam Brittain made 29 saves for Denver, including five in overtime.

Kenny Reiter made 12 saves after replacing Aaron Crandall in net for UMD. Crandall made five saves in the first period.
