COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The Colorado Springs Sky Sox released its 2011 regular season schedule Monday, kicking off the season with an eight-game home stand against Portland/Tucson and Reno Apr. 7-14.
The Sky Sox set a single-season attendance record in 2010 with 328,003 fans, and will look to build on that in 2011 with several promotions.
There will be 13 fireworks shows, including the Fourth of July, and the second annual Skyfest Spectacular - the largest fireworks show of the season - on Sept. 3.
The organization will also feature 50 cent hot dogs on 12 Sundays, nine Kids East Free Mondays, 10 $2 Tuesdays, six Theme Night Thursdays, a Jimmy Buffet Night, Wing Fest Night and Bark In the Park.
