Fisherman have to wait until ice melts

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Opening day for fishing season at North Catamount and South Catamount reservoirs is postponed until further notice due to icy conditions yet at the two reservoirs.
The recreation areas were due to open to fisherman on Saturday, May 1.
Fishing will be open on the north bank only at Crystal Creek Reservoir starting May 1, however.
2010 Schedule Season & Hours:
- Opening Day, May 1: Postponed
- May 1 to May 27: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- May 28 to Sept. 6: 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Closed: July 27, Pikes Peak Hill Climb
- Closed: August 29, Bike Event
- Sept. 7 to Sept. 30: 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Oct. 1 to Oct. 17: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Last day of Season: October 17
Fees:
- NSRA fee is $4 Per Person (16 years and Older)
- Children younger than 16 are admitted free
- Purchase a pass with 30 punches for $100
Pikes Peak Highway Fees:
Dec. 1 to April 30
- Adults (16 and older): $10 per person
- Children (6-15): $4 per child
- Carload Rate (up to 5 people): $35 per car
· Additional Adults: $7 per person; additional Children: $2 per child
May 1 to Nov. 30
- Adults (16 and older): $12 per person
- Children (6-15): $ 5 per child
- Carload Rate (up to 5 people): $40 per car
· Additional Adults: $8 per person; additional Children: $2 per child
