MONACO (AP) — Usain Bolt's 100 and 200 meter world records have been ratified by the International Association of Athletics Federations.
Both marks were set at the World Championships in Berlin in August when the Jamaican ran 9.58 seconds for the 100 and 19.19 for the 200, beating the records he set at last year's Olympics in Beijing.
The IAAF also ratified Anita Wlodarczyk's world record hammer throw of 77.96 meters which the Polish athlete also set at the Worlds.
