DENVER (AP) -- Andrew Bynum is promising to get to the Pepsi Center early for Game 4 of the Los Angeles Lakers' first-round series against the Denver Nuggets following his scoreless first half in Game 3.

L.A.'s big man acknowledged he wasn't ready Friday night, when he arrived later than he had wanted to and didn't get the chance to go through his full pregame routine in which he practices his footwork.

Bynum also said he was bothered by the altitude as the Nuggets ran the Lakers ragged, building a 24-point lead on their way to a 99-84 win.

Bynum bounced back to score 18 points in the second half, but the Lakers had dug too deep of a hole.

He pledged to get off to a better start Sunday night.
