Dave Fisher volunteers his time to help with crowd control
FOX21 News at Nine anchor Joe Cole focuses on Dave Fisher, a US Senior Open marshal--one of the men charged with keeping the crowd quiet when the golfers address and are ready to hit the ball. It can be a powerful postion--all Fisher has to do is raise his hands.
For this week's event, more than 1300 volunteer marshals are participating. The count of volunteers for the entire event totals nearly 3000.
