DENVER (AP) -- Denver scored three times in the third period to beat Wisconsin 3-1 Saturday and force a third game in their Western Collegiate Hockey Association playoff series.
The third game will be played Sunday with the winner advancing to the Final Five. Wisconsin won 1-0 on Friday.
Nate Dewhurst, Luke Salazar and Nick Shore scored for the Pioneers (22-12-4), who outshot the Badgers 42-28. Shore also had an assist.
Salazar had the game-winner at 12:53 of the third period.
Denver goalie Sam Brittain had 27 saves.
Justin Schultz scored the only goal for Wisconsin (17-17-2).
Badgers goalie Joel Rumpel had 39 saves.
