BERKELEY, CALIF. (AP) -- Layshia Clarendon scored 15 points and California secured the No. 2 seed in the Pac-12 with a 64-43 victory over Colorado on Saturday.

Brittany Boyd added 11 points and seven assists, and Talia Caldwell also had 11 points for the Golden Bears (22-7, 13-4 Pac-12). Cal has won seven of its last eight games and has a 2 1/2-game lead over third-place USC (10-6) in the conference standings entering the final week of the regular season.

Chucky Jeffery led Colorado (16-11, 5-10) with 18 points and seven rebounds. The Buffaloes were without starter Jen Reese, who broke the orbital bone under her left eye Thursday against Stanford and is expected to miss the rest of the season.

Cal dominated from the outset, jumping out to a 14-2 lead in the first four minutes. Colorado fought back to tie it at 22-all before the Bears closed the half on 16-3 run to lead 38-25 at the break.
