Wisconsin led 2-1 entering the final period but scored three times to pull away.

Justin Schulz, Mark Zengerle, Keegan Meuer and Brendan Woods also scored for Wisconsin.

Denver (18-10-4, 13-7-4) got goals from Jason Zucker and Drew Shore and 30 saves from Sam Brittain.
