DENVER (AP) -- Austin Czamik had a goal and two assists to lead Miami of Ohio to a 4-2 men's college hockey win over Denver Saturday in the championship game of the Denver Cup Classic.
Czamik's goal in the first period gave the RedHawks (8-6-2) a 2-1 lead. Reilly Smith got the eventual game-winner at 10:48 of the second period.
Denver (6-4-3) got goals from Chris Knowlton and Ty Loney.
Denver goalie Juho Olkinuora had 12 of his 24 saves in the second period.
Cody Reichard made 32 saves for the RedHawks, with a high of 15 in the second period.
