Jason Hammel pitched two scoreless innings in his spring debut, Chris Iannetta hit a two-run homer and the Colorado Rockies beat Arizona 7-4 on Tuesday for their third straight victory over the Diamondbacks.
SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. (AP) -- Ryan Spilborghs, Ty Wigginton and Jordan Pacheco also drove in runs for the Rockies, who hosted their first game at Salt River Fields.
Russell Branyan hit a three-run homer, Stephen Drew had two hits and Gerardo Parra drove in a run for the Diamondbacks.
Hammel, who set a career high for innings pitched (177 2-3) last year, allowed one hit and struck out a batter.
Diamondbacks left-hander Joe Saunders made it through two innings in his second start of the spring. He allowed two runs and three hits, a better outing than his first appearance when he gave up four runs and four hits in 1 2-3 innings.
