FORT COLLINS, COLO. (AP) -- Andy Ogide scored 17 points as Colorado State avenged an earlier season loss to New Mexico with a 68-62 victory Saturday night.

Greg Smith added 14 and Adam Nigon had 13 for Colorado State (17-7, 7-3 Mountain West). The Rams, winners of four of their last five, lost 68-61 to the Lobos on Jan. 12 in Albuquerque and had lost eight straight to New Mexico.

Dairese Gary and Kendall Williams had 16 points each for New Mexico (17-8, 5-5), which saw its four-game winning streak end.

New Mexico hurt itself with 6-for-25 3-point shooting. The Lobos trailed by as many as 18 points in the second half but got within 63-60 on Cameron Bairstow's first 3-pointer of the season with 43 seconds left.
