Colorado College rolls over Ala.-Huntsville

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. (AP) -- Tyler Johnson had a goal and two assists and two Colorado College goalies combined for a shutout as the Tigers beat Alabama-Huntsville 7-0 in men's college hockey on Friday.

Johnson's goal was part of a three-goal second period. The Tigers scored four times in the first period.

Josh Thorimbert made seven saves in each of the first two periods and was replaced in the third by Tyler O'Brien, who added three saves. Colorado College (13-11-1) outshot the Chargers 38-17.

Archie Skalbeck scored two goals and Dakota Eveland and Jeff Collett assisted on two apiece.

The Chargers (3-22-2) got 15 saves from John Griggs. He was replaced less than three minutes into the second period by Clarke Saunders, who made 16 stops.
