DENVER (AP) -- Tyler Thalken scored a career-high 19 points as Denver won its eighth straight game, beating Arkansas State 74-36 on Thursday night.

Thalken hit all five 3-point attempts for Denver (10-9, 6-0 Sun Belt), whose streak is its longest since a string of 13 victories in a row in 1970-71. The Pioneers are unbeaten in Sun Belt play after six games for the second time, the first since the 2004-05 season.

Brian Stafford added 12 points for Denver, which was 11-for-21 on 3-point tries.

Rashad Allison led Arkansas State (10-11, 4-3) with seven points. The Red Wolves had 20 turnovers, which Denver turned into 30 points.

Arkansas State's point total was its lowest of the season. The previous low was 56.
