LARAMIE, WYO. (AP) -- Jade Kennedy recorded her first career triple-double and Hillary Carlson added her third double-double of the season as Wyoming routed Colorado State 83-43 in the Mountain West opener for both Wednesday night.
Kennedy finished with 17 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists for the Cowgirls (10-3) while Carlson had 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Chaundra Sewell scored a game-high 18 and Aubrey Vandiver added 16 points and eight rebounds.
Sam Martin had 11 points to lead the Rams (7-7), who shot just 32.7 percent and matched their season low for points.
Wyoming took control of this one early, building leads of 17-4 and 32-15 before going into halftime up 39-23. The Cowgirls, who scored a season high, pushed their advantage to 42 in the second half.
The Cowgirls also outrebounded the Rams 41-25, hit 10 3-pointers and scored 34 points in the paint.
