EL PASO, TEXAS (AP) -- Derek Brooks scored 17 points and Air Force rallied to beat Sam Houston State 76-65 in the Sun Bowl Invitational Tuesday night.
Tom Fow had 15 points, Todd Fletcher 12 and Evan Washington 11 for the Falcons (8-3), who shot 56 percent from the field.
Air Force trailed 27-9 in the first half and 36-28 at the break.
But the Falcons scored the first eight points of the second half to draw even. Fow's three-point play with 6 1/2 minutes to play gave Air Force the lead for good at 53-51.
Gilberto Clavell led all scorers with 24 points for Sam Houston State (6-5). Josten Crow added 14 for the Bearkats.
