Colorado College beats Michigan Tech 7-3

HOUGHTON, MICH. (AP) -- Brothers Rylan and Jaden Schwartz combined for seven points Friday to lead Colorado College to a 7-3 win over Michigan Tech.

Rylan, a sophomore forward, had two goals and an assist. Jaden, a freshman forward, had four assists for the Tigers (7-7-1, 4-5-0 Western Collegiate Hockey Association).

Andrew Hamburg also scored two goals for Colorado College, which outshot the Huskies 47-34 and went 2-for-4 on the power play. Nick Dineen added a goal and two assists.

The Huskies (3-7-2, 1-7-1) trailed 4-3 early in the third. But the Tigers scored three goals in a four-minute span against Kevin Genoe, who made 40 saves for Michigan Tech.

Joe Howe had 31 stops for the Tigers.

Jacob Johnstone, Milos Gordic and Ryan Furne scored for the Huskies.
